So while having a conversation with a friend, a fellow stroke survivor,  who was sharing his feelings about his cognitive test results and how they show a significant decline in his ability to process and retain information in his brain.  I can understand his dismay. Following my stroke, I had to take a cognitive scale testing, mainly for my court case, and the results showed a huge decline my ability to process and retain information that was given to me in verbal or comprehending written text.

In a few days I will be fitted with a contact that will be worn over my right eye and will be clear, except in the middle will be solid black so it will block my vision. Over the course of the past 9 years of my recovery and 5 years of eye muscle therapy within that time, I now know that no amount of exercise or prescriptions will stop the bouncing (Nystagmus) primarily in my right eye, for that is the worse of the two.  I’ve gone as far as surgery to see if that may help. It did help with the
